How do I pay for my vehicle?
You can pay cash on the day or you can pay via your credit or debit card using PayPal when you book your taxi online. If required you can also pay via your credit/debit card in-car using our TaxiPay System.*
How far in advance can I book my transport ?
All online bookings should be made at least 24hrs before the journey is going to take place. For transport required within 24hrs please call us on the telephone number provided to confirm availability.
Are the prices per passenger of per vehicle?
All our charges are per vehicle and not per passenger.
Do you charge extra if my flight is delayed.
If you provide a flight number, you will not be charged extra if your flight is delayed because we monitor flight arrivals at all UK airports .
Please make sure you provide your flight number to the booking operator.
How will i find my driver at the airport?
On confirmation of your booking you will receive an email from us giving you the contact details of your driver. Once you are through customs/immigration please telephone your driver who will arrange a meeting point with you. A meet and greet in the terminal service is available but is subject to an extra fee of £15. Please telephone us to arrange this service.
Are your drivers qualified?
All of Central Cabs drivers are fully licensed by our local authority, Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council, and hold at least NVQ level 2 in Road Passenger Transportation. All drivers are subject to regular CRB checks.
Do you take on company contracts?
Corporate contracts are our speciality. We already provide taxi services for some of the UK’s largest companies.
